What is the Executive Pastor?

The Executive Pastor is an exclusive weekly content that serves as your one-stop shop for all things Marketing, Advertising, and Administration. This service is tailored to assist churches, ministries, and mission-led businesses—small or large—with building a strong foundation for success.

Why I Started the Executive Pastor

I recently had dinner with a good Pastor friend and, during the course of the meal, I shared my knowledge and experience strengthening church operations and building their marketing programs. As we wrapped our conversation, he thanked me and confessed, “as a Pastor, we are not taught the business of Ministry, we are taught how to minister.” He told me that I had given him thousands of dollars of information that would help his church and outreach ministry go to the next level.

“Everything you shared with me tonight is the job of an Executive Pastor. Any Pastor could hire you today to be their Executive Pastor. You should consider how you can help as many Pastors like myself learn and understand the business of Ministry.”

As I began to pray about what he said, the Lord began to reveal so many ways my experience could benefit Pastors, like my friend, who were ready to grow their ministry.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Lynette Jackson. I own a premiere multidisciplinary media and marketing company in Atlanta, GA called Roar Media Group. My career started in operations and sales for a major hotel firm. I moved into a role as Executive Assistant of Conventions with one of the country’s largest megachurches. I was soon promoted to Director of Marketing and developed the church’s first Marketing Department. Today, that church boasts more than 30,000 active members. Since my time creating and growing that first Marketing Department, I have assisted churches nationally and Internationally to develop their marketing efforts.

In addition to my experience in ministry marketing, for nearly 20 years I also worked as a Senior Executive Assistant to several large media companies where I served as a strategic partner to top executives in companies such as Turner Broadcasting, CNN, The Weather Channel, and Cox Media Group. During my time in corporate America, I worked in what was called the “C-Suite” which housed Chairmen, Chiefs, and Presidents.

This combined marketing and executive experience led me to start my own media consulting company. Roar Media Group helps transform ideas into action. But I realize that not every organization is ready to hire a consultant. With your subscription to the Executive Pastor, this is my opportunity to teach you and your ministry “how to fish.” I’m eager to share my knowledge of ministry and corporate administration with you in hopes of giving you the tools and knowledge that will help you serve to the best of your ability.

Another Pastor friend recently told me to “always pray and ask God to send me my ‘destiny helpers,’ those people who have been assigned to help bring my vision and purpose to pass.” I’ve been blessed with numerous helpers to aid me as I pursue my destiny, and as Executive Pastor, I would like to be your destiny helper.

This exclusive, subscription service will offer you insightful strategies for approaching the day to day challenges of Pastoring a church or ministry, both practical and innovative ideas for marketing and outreach, sound advice for building and/or strengthening your foundation, and tips to catch up with or take advantage of today’s growing digital audience. As Executive Pastor, I aim to help you grow your presence and your revenue.
